It's hard to tell for sure without a picture of the side plate but it does look to be a saginaw. Judging from the tailshaft it's from a 81-82 camaro/firebird. I'm running a similar gearbox in my truck. I recently overhauled it. The master rebuild kit cost what I thought was a very reasonable $110 and included all of the bearings, synchronizers, seals, gaskets, and other misc. peices. It really works great now. If you have a three speed in your truck this trans will bolt right in. It's identical in length so no driveshaft modifications are needed. I have a Hurst shifter on mine. They make a linkage kit for our trucks which relocates the shifter further forward on the tranny. It's a really easy swap. I installed mine in an afternoon.
