thanks for all the kind words......I have always liked the look of the wood grain interior trims.....even if it's not year correct for my 68....but hey.....that's what makes them our own trucks....

monteman, I personally didn't see the episode but I heard about it.....There are several different ways to achieve grain effects from tack cloths to grain combs to even using saran wrap for a more burlewood effect...just as you would with a marble texture...but with more colors involved....

I also want to say what a great place this is to hang out and learn stuff..and with a great group of people....I've learned so much from peoples problems, solutions and build ups.

I also hope, in the near future, to post a how-to on fiberglass kick panel enclosures to improve imaging in a stereo system...if i can just get around and do it!
