Hi,

I have a weird problem regarding my power windows and power door locks...

I nearly finished my truck (1984 silverado) now - just preparing it for the inspection.

The problem:

When I apply the power WINDOW switch at the drivers door my door locks go up or down (left switch = left lock - right switch = right lock...)

when I apply the DOOR lock switch just nothin happens ??!

I disassembled the driverside door again and found out the plugs are placed correctly on window motor and door lock - you can`t interchange them because of the length of the wires (the wire for the window motor won`t reach to the door lock.)

The plugs right underneath the dash left and right are all okay...?!

SO - what do you think what did I wrong ????? I´m really confused

ANY HELP appreciated !!! Has anybody a wiring diagram for 81 - 87 c10 POWER WINDOWS and POWER DOOR LOCKS ??? I used the search button but had not much success....sorry.
