Dewalt 18v.
Batteries are interchangeable with all 18v Dewalt tools, and there are lots of them.
The best price deal is to buy it in a kit, best bang for the buck.
And you don't have to buy into the lithium ion hype(overpriced cr@p)

I have owned a Crapsman 18v drill, it worked OK, but batteries were harder to obtain. Though Ryobi batts would work with it.
I also own Milwaukie cordless tools, and actually prefer the V28 set, but it is more expensive.
