I just did this to my 72. Used the 4" lift kit mfg'd by Tuff Country. It is a very complete kit. I didn't have to lengthen the drive shafts. The kit comes with mounting brackets that extend the brake lines without having to replace them. I didn't use them yet and I might not use them. The rear hose is plenty long and I am not climbing any hills or rocks so my suspension will never see that kind of travel.
I did this on a Sunday and didn't plan to replace the bolts. So make sure you get yourself 6 grade 8's, 9/16x4-1/2 or 5" for the rear springs. They don't carry that size at your average hardware store. BTW, These guys had the best deal I could find www.offroaddesign.com/index.htm
