Re: '72 Frame Up Rebuild

I've got the truck down at MTO Suspension and Fabrication here in Fort Collins, CO. They do everything.....from tear down to restoration so I've got a guy working on that thing 2 or 3 times a week.

Of course I have to pay for it....but I can't take off work so it's how I gotta do it. Plus I'm not sure I have the knowledge or patience to do it myself.

I do all the minor stuff like weatherstripping, painting all the frame, brackets...parts and pieces.....so I am involved but when it comes to the "real" work.....I leave that to people that do it for a living while I stay at my "day job" and do what I know how to do ;-)

We started this in January so it's been going on for 8 months now and it's still got a ways to go.

Probably a two year project from start to finish, and that's with professionals working on it a couple times a week.
