Re: wheels hubcap interchange
I believe the 50's style Chevy truck hubcaps are all clip style and won't fit those wheels. My 1960 GMC was originally equipped with clip caps. Anything of the Chevy passenger car caps from 54 up will fit, and also from Ford (they all share the 10 1/8 size), also the dog dish caps from Olds, Pontiac, etc. I'm not sure when Chevy trucks went to nub style wheels, but I'm guessing 1963, so anything from then on should fit. I've used 1954 and 1960 Chevy car caps and they fit fine.
The earlier style wheels (usually pre-disc brakes) have 3 bumps on the wheel center to hold the cap. The newer disc brake wheels have 4 bumps. These stretch the cap a bit tighter but still work. Baby moons work fine, including the Chevy baby moons that had a bowtie embossed in the center.
The naked lady and moon caps are generally wheel covers, not hub caps and they will almost any 15" wheel since they are held on with spring fingers around the rim.
