I understand about the friend's shop deal. Mine stayed at my friend's shop for 2 years and was worked on only when time and money would allow. when I was building my house, he got so tired of pushing it around his shop, we built a temp shed to store it in.
thankfully, it was only a few miles from my work, not eight hours and three states away
