Darn near any rearwheel drive GM truck or car will work. Far as I remeber all the small black V8s, the V6,s and in-line sixes will bolt up. Most will proably take what the 6 dishes out too. I'm not sure about the big block bolt pattern, but I think they will work too.

Turbo350 probably be the cheapest way to go...70 to early 80 novas, malibus, Caprices, truck are a good starting point.
