First thing you need to do is find out "what you really have" for heads, cam, intake, ignition, exhaust...etc.
Until you really know what parts are there, your pretty much shooting in the dark just throwing on a carb.
Tough to beat a good running Holley for all out "GO" in my opinon but they can be a pita and don't like to off road at all.
Never cared for the Edlebrooks, liked the old school Carters a lot better.
Q-jets seem to be the most reliable for day to day driving.
