How good you are with bender, and fitting them is the key, take your time. now my heim joints i went stupid big on they are 1 1/4" shaft, chromoly 4160 and all 16 of them to my door cost $600. you could use the ones like TALL has there are guys around here that run them and it is basically like he said "pay attention". i also bought a strip that is 10' long 4" wide 3/8" thick around $15 this is to make all my taps for the four link and some gussets. then i got 4' of 5"x3" 3/8" square tubing for the cup brackets @$60 total.

it all adds up quick but there is no way i could "buy" a set up for what i'm (we) are doing. a little elbow grease and time saves dollars, not everything has to have a big company name on it to make it good.........take your time and reasearch......this is the first big 4x4 i have built and so far it is turning out good enough for me

were your coils really over $200 each! or each pair?
mine were $200 brand new for the pair.
