Actually, it got dented, to the right of the handle right where the upper trim attaches on the white gate shown. Frank boxed this gate (by box I mean wooden frame and plywood and shipped FEDEX. Somewhere between here and there a fedex goon dropped something extremely heavy on it. I tried to make a claim but as per usual fedex claimed improper packaging. So I took it to a body man and many $$$ later it is pristine again. Its no longer a new take off, but I was going to remove trim and paint anyway.
I had another gate shipped via greyhound cross country that was wrapped in cardboard and bubble wrap and it arrived no damage.
I ASSume that as soon as you make the packaging "look" bullet-proof, your package automatically gets handled with less care...human nature?
FYI, I do not blame Frank and do not hold him responsible in any way. He went the extra mile to help me, just crap happens.
