Is your truck a divorced case? I would guess it is divorced and a rockwell in a 67.

You could put an NV4500 with a 2wd output to the divorced case. I called Advanced and asked about this, and they recomended a Dodge trany. They said it would adapt easier (go figure)

That wasn't to bad for cost because you only need to adapt the engine side of the tranny. The driveline handles the rear.

If you have a mated t-case it is more money as you must adapt the front to the motor and the rear to the t-case.

A mated NV4500 is going to cost about 2500 bucks. The trannys are like 1200 and the adapters are about the same (I think)

There is not much other choice. You can get a SM465 mated to a NP205 for about 500 bucks, which is what I am doing for now. Some day I will go for the divorced version of the 5 speed.

Good Luck
