Yeah, those are all good points, and I don't disagree, however, I already have a good solid transfer case, and I would like to do it on the cheap if possible. I can see both sides of the fence, I'm just trying to gather information before I decide on which direction to go, that way I can make an informed decision and not run into many surprises..
