I'm assuming these are general questions.
I can't answer the "when it was invented" but you can google it and get several responses.
The other questions don't have exact years since p.s. overlapped in a lot models between the years. A lot of us older guys can remember that before the 60's it was not common on most cars and certainly not in trucks. There's no exact years since there were literally hundreds of different models of cars and trucks by the same manufacturer that had p.s. and some that didn't. In the earlier years, say, before the 70's it was an option that you could order.
I noticed power steering becoming more common in the 70's and probably standard in the late 80's and 90's.
