Everything but the narrowing of the rear end housing can be done by a decent mechanic with a welder in your driveway. I would leave the rear end narrowing to a professional shop.

Depending upon how big of a tire you want to run you may not have to mess with the frame at all. A 325/50 should fit into the stock wheel well clear width with the right spring location, axle width & wheel backspacing.
