I don't even think you notice the height rise, maybe 1/4".. I didn't notice much when i took mine off.
The top weighs maybe 200-250 lbs.. I'm sure someone knows exactly what it weighs..

I'm looking at getting a bolt on C notch kit from ebay, that will give me more room, can I lower the back end more then 7-8 " with the notch then?
