If your new 350 is a short tailshaft then you will be able to use the same driveshaft from the 70 and allow the engine mounts to stay where they are.

I think you can use the transmission rear crossmember. You will have to remove the bellhousing crossmember.

Auto column or floor shifter too.

You can install as a unit but I would recommend removing the hood.

Also, you can upgrade to disc brakes from the 74 if both are 2wd.

I don't think the 74 radiator will fit and you will need one with a trans cooler.

I know there are a lot of other little things but none come to mind just now.
