To get it level in the front you will have to do a larger notch and cut the bed. The c-notch will still leave you with a slight rake. Personally I like the rake and will be doing the c-notches on mine only, but it's definitely a personal preference thing.
IMHO if you are going to go through cutting the bed floor and doing a big notch, I would run custom inner fenders and rear wheelwells so you can drop it that extra few inches...or get front and rear dropmemembers
