I had the same experience with the core support from Goodmark.

Here's the deal..............

I notified Goodmark of the problem, they looked into it and found they had a run that was done wrong.

They got back in touch with me and sent me a corrected one free of all charges, including the shipping right to my door.

Don't know if this helps you now, but I feel as if they did good by me.

And the fit of the new one was good. You are right on the alignment, everything was about 1/4" off. I tried before realizing the problem.
