Your profile picture is not what shows up over there <-------
That is your avatar. If you go to UserCP, on the left there is a category "Setting & Options" the first one there is "Edit Avatar" if you go there you can change your avatar.
The profile pic is the picture folks see when they click on your user name and see your Profile info.
