Great info Bubba, sorry to say it's been heading this way for years, when I had my shop I trained all techs to be their own parts men, we had all current parts books from NAPA, then crossed them to what ever line we needed, by doing this it stopped the"I'm waiting on parts" line...and the parts were correct, unless the tech screwed up, and that stopped their whining about the parts store or men.
I use the NAPA online pro catalog now and cross it down, pretty easy to do.
