Thanks Captianfab! I already have a die grinder. I'll look for one of those carbide burr bits. I think I used one of those at my buddy'd shop a number of years ago. Didn't think of that. As for the rearend, I remember reading something like that now about making sure it has the correct gears.

Another snow day today. We've got probably close to 16 inches of snow now. I'll post some pics when it gets light out. Pretty crazy! I'll probably get some work done on the truck also. I'm going to disassemble the rear of the truck today down to the frame. If I have time, I might bring in a couple of body panels and start to strip them also.
