Here are the pictures I promised to post.







As you can see there are 3 studs that go through the firewall from the inside out and there is one open hole just under where the tubes come through the firewall and that should be it. You have 2 small screws that hold the cover on the heater core cover in place. From there you should be able to see what you need to do to take it apart. Good Luck.
