I'd take the existing fuel filler hose and cut it into as short a straight section as possible. Take the steel end (that the cap fits into) and stick that into your newly formed straight section of hose. Take the vent hose and cut it so that it works with your new arrangement.

Fill tank with gas, install cap and drive truck until empty. Repeat as often as necessary.
