Swap in the early 80's components onto your crossmember.
Use all the steering stuff also.
Buy drop spindles for "year" of donated donor parts.
You can either use a 6-lug ECE conversion rotors (as long as your donor truck has 1.25" rotors originally),... or swap rear axles and keep everything 5-lug. Swapping in a 71-72 rear axle is another 5-lug option.
