I ran into this same issue. Ended up buying a fully welded 20 ton press and made up some adapters to press in and out bushing. My Camaro control arms required that I make a new platform as the one on the press was too wide and I couldn't center the arms up. Bought some heavy gauge steel and built a new table. Works great but seriously heavy!!!

One tip, when doing control arms that are formed like a U and the bushing goes thru the two flat areas, cut a piece of angle iron to make as a support to go on the inside of the flats, up against the bushing. This way, when you press them out and back in, you don't collapse the arm.
