You know I wondered that from the looks of the steering wheel. To be quite honest Special K, I am not sure of it to be from a '68 and you may be correct of '69 being the first year as I am very new to the game. But, I do know it is an original column and I assumed it to be '68 since it came out of my truck. Now the p.o. may have retro-fitted it from a '69, I don't know. Nonetheless, it is an excellent part and in darn good shape for its age. It's just I am more of a custom guy than original and don't need it and figured I could help someone else out. Sorry for the misrepresentation guys. Thanks for the help Special K  !
