I would venture to say those cheap brackets are your problem. Either they aren't built to tight tolerances, or those holes are too big for the leaf centering pins...or both. If you saw the WC flip brackets (or other mfr's products)...you would never have purchased those...I wouldn't have at least.

DJM parts are cheap...and not just in price.

Have you tried loosening everything up (leafs and all), sitting the truck on the ground (or rack), tightening down the U-bolts/flip brackets and then the leafs and shackles? That might help you.
