I know I have read pros and cons to different intake configurations etc. What is everyones opinions on using this motor in one of our trucks if we want to make power. I think the truck motors are the ones that do not fit quite well.

Is this correct?
I think the best upgrade for the LS motors to make good power are a nice cam upgrade and the L92 heads and intake upgrade. The L92 heads are the rectangular port heads instead of the cathedral port heads. L92 heads are the equivalent of the LS3 Vette heads. And the truck motors fit perfect because our trucks have such a large engine bay. The truck motors have the taller intake which still fits, but many guys like myself switch to the car(Vette or GTO) intakes.
