Re: Turbo headers/manifolds?

thats a nicely made setup
let us know how it works and things you needed to change .
i'm realy trying to read up a lot on the small block turbo's now that my big block project has gone bust
it was too costly and was just too mush power anyways 1200 hp needs upgrading everything in the driveline wish makes the total costs for the setup about 3 times higher compared to going for 750-800 hp
the small block seems to be a better choice in terms of room around the engine and stuff available for it
i want to upgrade a 350 to forged internals bored and stroked to 383 (prolly scat and probe , vortec heads, a truckstyle low rpm torq cam a pro flow XT intake and megasquirt efi not sure yet on a single turbo or duals but it will be on the small side so it comes on boost fast and whont overtax the stock engineblock at higher rpms

scat now allso makes complete shortblocks using dart blocks wish would be a nice start too.

couple of nice tricks ive seen sofar is using a mecanical fuelpump blockoff plate to mount the returnline for the turbo on and using the stock oilpressure sender hole to take of the oil for the turbo using a T piece , the nice thing about this is that its undoable should you want to return the block into an natural asperated version

if anyone else has some good ideas about turboconversions i would like to learn about it
