I'm pretty sure you can pull the plug out of the base (shown in the second pic.) and screw the adapter for the booster line in.

Congrats on the rebuild. That is my favorite vintage Qjet. For the choke it should have a thermostatic spring that mounts to a pad on the intake. By far the easiest and best working choke I have used.

I've done a few Qjets now as well as a carter and an Edelbrock and small engine carbs.
