Those are the real deal from GM.They`re exactly the same as the later ones,except for the bumper contour of course.I really like them on a 4wd.I started putting them on after I outgrew the brush guard/fabbed heavy steel bumper thing.I started wanting a cleaner factory look as these trucks aged and I started going for the factory optioned trucks that I don`t go tear up.The guards give a tougher look while being pretty and factory.I can`t quite get behind them on my GMC,though.They compete with the grille or something.I bought the low-rise 67-70 guards and might try those and see how I like it.
