You have to remove the vent window assembly to remove the window. Here's what I did:

1) Lower window to bottom.
2) Remove armrest, window crank and door handle.
3) Remove door panel.
4) Remove 4 regulator mounting screws and 2 lower window channel screws.
5) Remove vent window screws (located through door frame)...mine had 4
screws.
6) Lean vent window frame into cab then pull up and out.
7) Slide regulator out of guides.
8) Remove window.
9) Remove regulator.
10) Reverse steps 1-9 to install new regulator.

The toughest part of the whole operation were the door panel screws. I had to drill out three of them...and those fuggers were hard steel. Ruined several bits.
