So what kind of real out-of-pocket cash do you think you will have in it?

I remember in the past, you were talking about selling this truck when it is done.
I buy a lot of my parts at a discount or at cost,... but I don't keep track of MSRP of each item.

Are you saying that your build would cost $45k+ for someone else to dupicate?
These prices aren't MSRP...rather the price you'd pay if you bought them online or in the store from CPP, Accuair, Brothers, LMC, etc. MSRP would probably be 55-60K for the parts.

I originally was planning to just put this together quickly, sell it, and buy a 2wd blazer project. But now I have so much time and effort into it (not to mention $$$) that I want to keep it and show it. However, how well my career is going will dictate whether I keep or have to sell it once it's done.

I used to have actual out of pocket expenses at this moment to the penny but I lost the spreadsheet I had when my comp crashed....but from memory and recent purchases it is roughly 20K TO THIS POINT (including purchase price of truck). The way I have offset that is through local buying/selling of parts/trucks and selling some of those parts I found on here. I have done really well with that.

Yes, 45K for parts plus 600hrs+/- labor to duplicate.....when completed
