I was just looking at one of my Quads, and one of the newer ones has a stud bolt to accept the cable for the cruise. So, you should be able to drill a hole in the Edelbrock linkage to accept this bolt/stud. My problem seems to be the bracket where all three cables mount to the carb or engine. Haven't quite been able to idenify or find out where to get one, yet
