Being a former LEO, I can tell you that someone who wants your car/truck could care less if there is a little flashy light or not. And I'm in a town WAAAAY smaller. Anymore, car alarms are nothing but gravy money for the manufacturers, and a nuisance for everyone else. I do know of LEO's who have written noise violations for rampant car alarms!
