Re: wanted 8 inch stock wheels
The 6-lugs are abundant compared to the 5-lug,since they were available on 4wds in later years, more aftermarket on 1/2t 4wds,and the military Blazers all had them.I have about $400 into mine w/powdercoat...Purchase w/shipping $125 & $65@ for blasting and powedercoat. Then, there`s the cost of the hubcaps. These aren`t the cheap way to go.I`d rather pay Stockton $450 and paint them for $20 than pay 1/2 that much or equal for one fancy wheel that`s temporarily in style and when you need a new one it won`t be available. These wheels last forever (virtually) and all you do is blast & paint when they start looking bad.If you get tired of them, you change the color, run w/o caps, change to other caps,or run full wheelcovers.
