For 400 bones I'd pick it up, but I'm wonderin how much of it's left where you live? I mean, those things were prone to rust out at the rear window and the front of the bed even here in SoCal. I can only imagine what that one looks like in snow country.
I had a 68 elCamino and that thing was probably my favorite car/truck I have ever owned, since it drove like a car but I could use it to move engines around in the back. It had my burb 327 in it for a while, and even did a few runs down the drag strip in Pomona. Mostly stock set up it ran low 14's, nothing fancy but goes to show the versatility of elCamino's.
The 1970 is my only real favorite of the 70 on up models, mostly for the front end and the SS package gauge cluster.
Hurry up and get some pics of that bad boy on here so we can all see it!
