Ok, I am just wondering since every metal lid I have seen gets a little bit of gas on it when the vehicle is driven for a while, if the filter lid would be dangerous. I have a 14x4 filter assembly from k&n already, but the top plate is getting rusty, and I am trying to decide what to replace it with.
