Not very difficult, You could start by removing the overload spring "the thick flat one on the bottom" that could help out with softening the ride. as for removing the rest: I'm not sure on yours what there will be, there is either a pin or a bolt through the center of the leaf pack. If there is a pin the you will grind the head off, remove the desired amount of leafs and put a bolt and nut through. Make sure the head of the bolt is on the bottom of the leaf pack. Or if you have a flip, the top. Also make sure the head of the bolt will fit snugly in the pin hole on the axle perch. If there is a bolt through the leaf pack then same steps with a new bolt, you just dont have to grind it out "unless of course the bolt is rusted". IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CLAMP THE SPRING PACK TOGETHER WHEN TAKING THE PIN OUT OR IT WILL EXPLODE IN YOUR FACE! I would start with the overload spring first.
