Do you have the paperwork that states that it came with the cruise? That or a receipt from the dealer that says something about cruise? Not trying to be nosey, but I don't think we will hear much except about the other style of cruise being correct and only it. There is just little information that these cruise control setups are correct, but I would only say that they are correct for 72' if they should be correct. All of the cruise systems similar to this on our era trucks have been on 72's. Like I said though, it's hard to get people budged off what could be correct if it isn't in a manual or documented somehow. Trevor
