the only "clip" there is is the little metal piece in the middle holding the two ends together (shown in your last photo) once you get that out, you can use that same tool, or an ice pick to get one end out, and just pull it out, easy as that, as he says, lube works well, itd probable be smart to get a "glass bone" as well, it will help you out tremendously, i also found using the foamy window cleaner works well as a lube, it wont leave a big mess as an oil will, hopefully allt his helps! if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!
