When I put my trim in, I used the red handled tool above. It took a bit of learning since I had never done it before, but in 10 minutes or so I was all done. I don't think I had to use any lube, just go steady and don't go too fast and it slides in like butter, the only tricky thing could be putting in the metal clip. The ones on the back window suck more than a hoover though.
