Re: Disc Brakes on 14-Bolt Full-Floater
When I did my swap I used the hoses for the front calipers and re-ran my brake lines so that they went through the frame like the front does.
Pull the axle shaft out
Pull the brake drumb off
Remove the Hub (this requires a special socket)
Take the brake line loose from the wheel cylinder
Remove the brake backing plate
Press the studs out of the Hub with a hammer and punch
Put the new rotor on the back side of the Hub and press the studs back through
Mount your new bracket from Ruff Stuff so that the bleader is facing Upward (the bend should be towards the wheel)
Put the hub back on
Put the caliper and pads on
Re-install the axle shaft
Repeat on other side
As for running the E-brake lines I don't know because I used front Calipers from a Dana 44
