I bought the truck about a year ago so I don't know the history of the motor. I believe I have a long water pump, the fan clutch is pretty close to the radiator. As far as factory BBC shroud I am not sure. The one currently in the truck is in rough shape maybe worth while to get one. Where can you get a factory BBC shroud and do the need to me modified for 1970.
