Ya know the same thing happened to me to about 2-3 months ago. My original ras took a dump so off i went to the nearest o'reilly's to buy a new one and as soon as I seen it i could tell that it was shorter than the original and i asked the guy to double check to make sure it was the right one and he said it was so i went ahead and put it in and with a few mods to get to sit right ive had no cooling problems yet. in fact while i was at changing the rad. i changed my old fan clutch to electric style fan and I noticed that helped as well so idk give it a try i guess i think it should cooljust as good.
