For the most part this will be my wife's daily driver, hauling kids to school and groceries home. I figure if I end up having to tow a lot I can put on those towing helper air bags. Again I don't want to get too radical with it, just want a subtle drop to put the fender lips about level with the top of 29-30" tall tires. Right now they're about 3"+ above them.
I thought perhaps I can pull a leaf or two (?) but I have no experience with how much of a change in height and load capacity this makes. Got something in mind? Looking forward to hearing your ideas...
Is your avatar your ride? I'd love to see more info on your build! Looks awesome!

mine is a 1/2 ton but I pulled the 2 middle leafs out of mine to lower the back, it rode fine and i still did some pulling with it...you just have to place the load right on the trailer. So you should be fine if you do it with a 3/4, and put the bags on there... but you should really think about shackles, I know there is an issue with the passenger side though, for the gas neck...Not to sure how much work it is. The leaf thing is easy but it is trial and error, you have to take the pack apart then put it back together and if its too low then you have to take it back apart...LOL Yea it mine in the ava. Thanks
