If you aren't going to crazy with the power you can get something from narrower vehicle. I know a guy that put a 8.5 inch 10 bolt from a car under his truck and it worked well and tucked the wheels in a little.

You can also check out a 8.5 inch 10 bolt from an S10, or even a Ford 8.8 from an Explorer as they are both pretty narrow. The 8.8 would be preferable as it's comparable in strength to 12 bolt.. You will need to have the axles redrilled for 5x5 but it's less work that narrowing a rear.
