yea i've heard its not hard just messy and the fibers make you itch when you sand it, thats why i was thinking of using the polyester resign. The way i would do it would be build the base and the hole for the speaker out of plywood, then you lay over the polyester material and staple it down to fit the shape you want, after that is one you mix up the polyester resign and lay it on and let it harden, when it hardens you sand it down a little then lay over some polyester filler and smooth it out, then your ready for paint. I would be using any fiberglass mat or cloth at all. Do you guys understand what i am talking about??
